Cold and dry storage warehouses are integral to a nation’s supply and distribution networks. As a result, meticulous designs and construction of these facilities remain a business imperative to create optimal conditions for storing perishable goods, minimizing waste, and facilitating global trades, while meeting stringent regulatory standards. Cold storage facilities, in particular, need careful consideration of the most efficient and modern material and construction specifications including insulations, advanced refrigeration, and precise environmental controls.

Industrial Building Group is pleased to announce we have been awarded the design build contract for the BGPF International Group’s Cold Storage Facility in Jacksonville, Florida.  Project includes a 282,000 SF freezer distribution facility.  Groundbreaking was on August 14, 2023, and the expected opening is September, 2024.  This is Industrial Building Group’s fourth building for the BGFP Group.  The design build team includes RKB Architects, Flood Consulting, and Stoneridge Engineering.
